Carolyn Levine

Carolyn loves public spaces. From parks and plazas to sidewalks and trails, she’s obsessed with places where people come together and believes strongly in the power of place to connect people. 

Carolyn works as Manager of Civic Engagement and Development at the Downtown Denver Partnership and sits on the Board of Trustees for the Design Workshop Foundation. She is the creator of  This Must Be The Place, a bi-monthly newsletter sharing opportunities for placemaking professionals.

She earned a Masters Degree in Urban Placemaking and Management from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and a BFA in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology in her hometown of Rochester, NY. She lives in sunny Denver, Colorado with her husband and their dog.
